The Position

Under the Director of Marketing, this candidate will have an integral role in the design and development of Marketing-led Lead Generation programs to feed a new Inside Sales capability. This is a paid internship beginning Fall 2017. 

Responsibilities

  • Primary: Develop and implement lead prospect databases, data collection systems, data append and quality to support and execute on Outbound Demand Generation Programs.
  • Manage data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality of revenue-driving programs.
  • Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports.
  • Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems.
  • Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.
  • Filter and “clean” data by reviewing computer reports, printouts, and performance indicators to locate and correct code problems.
  • Work with management to prioritize business and information needs.
  • Locate and define new process improvement opportunities.
  • Create and review reporting and assist in action planning with developing strategies to support marketing and prospecting campaigns.
  • Perform primary and secondary market research projects to help inform business and marketing campaign decisions and expand customer intelligence.
  • Create and maintain a database of industry related influencers inclusive of follower count and type of content.

Qualifications

  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a cross-functional team
  • High aptitude with data, analytics, excel and learning new software systems
  • Strong willingness to learn, be mentored, and improve
  • Demonstrated excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Competent in Microsoft Office Software (PowerPoint, Excel, and Word)
  • CRM experience a plus
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and projects
  • Familiarity with social networking sites and other marketing tools
  • Strong customer focus
  • Organizational and time management skills
